Buckingham Palace Party

For many years I have been photographing the royal family at numerous social engagements. I am proud to have been part of the official team of photographers to photograph four royal weddings here in London over the past years. Despite this I’ve never actually been to Buckingham Palace and my wish finally came true. On a very warm and balmy day in May I teamed up with brilliant photographer Alex Lloyd to photograph the annual garden party for The Not Forgotten Association.

Prince Andrew, Duke of York with Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice hosted the garden party and took time to talk to service men and women. When not photographing I managed to chat to some of the service people and heard some moving stories from some very brave people. Many of the old boys were quite entertaining and I could have quite happily sat listening to such stories all day.
